So to get started on the update: in the last year, Jett got his associates degree from UVU, has been promoted twice at work and is loving the position he has right now. He is now at the U of U going into business and hopes to get his MBA in the next few years. He was a huge help and supporter as I finished my degree. I finished my last two semesters of dental hygiene school and graduated with my bachelors degree in August. Jett was SUPER encouraging and uplifting and I could never repay him for all the help he was to me even when I was super stressed and not the nicest to him. I am SO lucky to have him forever! He truly is my biggest fan and I couldn't have made it through that ridiculously hard journey without his love and support!
My last day of school ever!
My amazing supporter and love of my life!
Class of 2013
We had some fun (and not so fun) times together!
The greatest group of girls ever!
Okay enough with boring school details.. Now to the EXCITING update!! You probably all know what is coming... Jill is done with school.. What else is there to do but......
HAVE A BABY!!!!!!
Yep that's right! Jett and I will be welcoming a beautiful little BABY into our family in April!!!!
The day of my graduation (August 15) I had a sure feeling I was pregnant. I didn't say anything all day because I was so scared if I did then I wouldn't really be pregnant. (silly I know!)
My best friend in the program is 15 weeks ahead of me.
She had no idea I was pregnant here (and neither did I)
It was an impromptu picture I thought would be fun to have later if I really was pregnant!
SO glad we got a picture like this!
The next morning (the first morning to sleep in and had NOTHING to do) I had a feeling I needed to take another test... Ahh I hate tests. Especially when I fail them.. Well folks not this time, I had passed with flying colors!!! I couldn't stop smiling and was exctatic for Jett to get home and tell him the good news (that was only about 6 hours away) so I went on with my day and ran errands with my mom like nothing had changed. Oh but everything had changed. I wanted to tell my mom SO bad. We are so close and I knew she would be so excited! But I needed to tell the FATHER first! Right before Jett got home I changed the background on his computer to say "stay calm, you are going to be a daddy!" When he got home I told him to turn on his computer so we could watch a show. As soon as he opened the computer he went silent. He looked at me and kept saying "are you serious!?" "Is this for real!?" "Are you serious!?" I finally had to pull put the test to prove to him I was in fact pregnant! We hugged and teared up for quite a while as we were coming to the realization our life would never be the same!
We had our first Dr appt on September 23 and saw our little nugget. We had kept it a secret for 10 weeks and after we saw that little nugget moving around in there it made it so real that we couldn't just keep it to ourselves anymore. We immediately began telling family and over the next few weeks told as many people as we could!
Our perfect little nugget!!
We were in awe for quite a while!!
A GIRL!!!!! Oh my I will never forget that moment! She was jumping all around and had the fastest little heart beat! I was (and still am) creating a little miracle inside of me!! We immediately told all of our friends and family the great news and of course started buying lots of girly things :)
How cute is that profile!?
Nothing there...must be a girl!
Hello mom and dad!!
Stretchin out! I'm afraid she'll be pretty squished in there for a while..
I am now half way there and can't wait to meet our little princess! That's a pretty good update if I do say so myself! Hopefully I will have many more posts before she comes, but if not you can look forward to pictures of her on here in April! Until next time!
